on bumming and some interesting finds...

With less than 2 weeks of my sembreak left, i still haven't done anything productive. x_x
True, I cleaned up my room (>_<), but..... meh, once a bum, always a bum. Anyyywaaaays, I've finished watching Peacemaker Kurogane (nyahah.. on to the next anime series! :P), which kind of ended too soon for me. I have the new Saosin & My Chemical Romance albums (forgive me for being emo >:P). I found a new "feel-good" song.. (Chasing Cars, still love Fix You though..) ^_^

Went to Mall of Asia last Friday & watched The Prestige. This is probably one of the best movies I've seen this year. Medyo boring sa start & medyo mahaba, pero it was well worth it. This is a WOW movie. It will shock you (well, in my case it did). I think this movie is more of a story of obsession, rather than magic. It shows magic in a rather, dark & disturbing way. Haay.. basta, watch it. You'll get what I mean afterwards. ^_^

Finished reading the Rule of Four. It's a very interesting read. It's like the Da Vinci Code, but it focuses on Renaissance Art, dead languages & codes on a certain book, the Hypnerotomachia Poliphili (I know it sounds really intellectual & boring, but... >_<). It's less on the decoding side (all that's shown are some paintings & translations to the codes written in the book) and more of showing how it affects the character's life. This is a good read. Right now, I'm starting to read Neil Gaiman books.

Wheeew..

After one month+ of not blogging, these things happened:

We had no phoneline for a month. (Kasi naman yang mga magnanakaw ng PLDT cablewires eh...grr..)
4 days without electricity because of SuperTyphoon Milenyo-- Now I know just how much we became dependent on technology. (average hrs of sleep: 3)
Theo Orals-- ang sarap ng feeling nung biglang tumunog yung earthquake drill alarm.. >_<
I have been a walking jinx. I don't know how it started, but it was really horrible (specially nung Friday the 13th) . It lasted until the end of finals week. :c
Finals last week-- wow. Sabi nga ni Jason: "Sangag (Sabaw+Bangag)" @_@

and now, I'm currently on my SemBreak! woot! ^_^
I have never been more stressed than this past sem! x_x
Dec.23-Jan.3 lang daw ung Christmas break. Why?!? T_T

Man, life has been such a drag.. I wish we could just skip the projects, the endless slaving for long tests, the finals and go have our SEMBREAK. I need it badly. The little amount of free time left in my hands, I spend by watching TV or using my PC.. This has been the longest sem. Time seems to drag on foreveeerrrrr.... T_T

I know I did a really crappy job in our Physics long test today. Who the heck thought that forces could be so difficult to deal with?!? Hah. They never had Captain Barbell(based on one particular test question) for a teacher. Grr... damped harmonic oscillators, rotating springs, too many formulas.. booooo. >:P
Well, okay. So it was partly my fault that I didn't study well enough. But still!! Argh. Thank goodness for the Caramel Java Chip Frap, I drank after that depressing episode.

I'm nervous about what score I got in my math midterm. I seriously don't want to hear "the TALK" from Sir 'Dah-ball-you' *seriously, that's how he(?) pronounces the letter 'w'.* Apparently no chances to redeem themselves(during the 2nd half of this sem) will be given to students who "are not deserving" to be in our course. Crap. x_x My grade is still a pass, but one can't help but feel nervous when he gives those 'threatening-guilt talks'. Kowaii yo~ (-_-")

I am starting to have doubts about staying in AMF, and I don't want to leave my course & blockmates. Made sense? Read the title.

hwaaaahhh....

One month na pala kong di nagppost dito... wala ng time.. *sob* T_T

So, how're things in my life? I hate to say it pero my life sucks right now *blames it on the school work*. Sobraaaaaa~ ayoko na talaga. We have group lab reports being checked by an INSANELY OC prof in Physics. Tapos, I think I'm gonna fail Accounting. Heck, it may only be involving basic operations, but the analysis part of accounting is killing me... First time ko lang mag-accounting, tapos may "cases" na kaming sinosolve [in short, they're treating us like we're already accountants or something]. x_x

I got sick during the weekend plus I had to study for yesterday's Math22 Long Test, so I wasn't able to go to a close friend's birthday celebration last Sunday. Life is just GREAT.

The last movie I watched was Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest. I haven't gone out for over three weekends already [i think]. I desperately need a break. T_T

Tapos balik school work ulit. Bleh. Wala na bang bagyo dyan?!? :P

NyahR....

First week of class is almost over...
I'm kinda scared from what I've been hearing about our block's professors, but from what I've seen during this week, I think they're pretty okay. (I just don't know how GENEROUS they are in giving grades, or IF they are generous at all. x_x)

Math 124(Discrete Math): Our prof doesn't want to be called Sir. He just wants to be called by his first name: Ray. Oh, he's American, so nosebleed na ito.. :P
I find one of our classmates to be quite annoying. Annoying voice, annoying know-it-all attitude.. Sure, he's (?) a double major but does he(?) really have to be sooooo noisy & critical about our prof's teaching method? Haaaarrrr... baka naman mabait kahit papano *still reserves some thoughts about that person* kaso big minus sa impression sa 'kin ung mga ganung tao eh.. bleh.. x_x

Physics 31(Analytical Physics): ehem.. terror prof daw sabi ni kelvs. Mali ata ung informant ni Kelvs.. >_< laughtrip talaga.. puro bloopers, lalo na nung tinitignan nya ung seat plan.. At nung nabali ung chalk, he(?) screamed! =)) Alas, I have a new name!! And it is... DUNDUNDUNDUN..... Josie!!! ROTFL... He was trying to memorize our names and that's what he called me.. x_x Medyo parang Marcelo, in terms of __-ness *blockmates fill in the blanks!* :D

Math 22(Calculus pa rin..x_X): Garces. Need I say more? @-) Nga pala, since Sir Reggie (prof last sem) was made Head of Math Dept. We predict that Sir Garces will be next in line! Nyahahah.. Ang yabang eh.. lahat ng prof namin sa Math nagiging Head.. >:)

Accounting 20(Financial Accounting): At last! An airconditioned room!!! Kaso 'yung seats di maganda, pano kasi nahuli kami ng dating... x_x Dr. Darwin Yu (prof namin) = ME graduate.. may bias kaya sya sa ME? x_x

Theology 121(Intro to doing a Catholic Theology): Jimenez aka jimeneeb... hmm... been hearing some things about this prof. Wala pa naman akong bad vibes or anything... Pero, naccurious ako sa nickname ha.. B... easy to get ba or that's the highest grade that we could possibly get? >_<

PE103(Swimming): Coach Mac. See, I took up swimming this sem para after ng Math LTs at na-depress ako, pwede akong magpakalunod.. :P

Random kababawan: Yay! Walang Accounting bukas, to give way to the Holy Spirit Mass. So Physics lang subject ko bukas! Wala ring pasok sa Friday! Thanks to the people/person who invented Faculty Day! Hahaha... ~_~

**sana makatakas ako sa coding tomorrow.... *prays* ^_^
